We are seeking a dedicated Transport Management professional with 3-5 years of experience and an M.Com degree to join our team in Vishakhapatnam. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and personnel essential to our water treatment and waste management operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their financial acumen and logistical expertise to optimize our transport strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement efficient transport plans for raw materials, finished goods, and waste disposal, considering cost, time, and safety.

Manage and oversee a fleet of vehicles, ensuring regular maintenance, compliance with regulations, and optimal utilization.

Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics providers and suppliers.

Monitor transportation costs, analyze financial data related to logistics, and identify areas for cost reduction, utilizing M.Com knowledge.

Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Coordinate with various departments (procurement, operations, finance) to ensure seamless supply chain integration.

Track and report on key transportation metrics, including delivery times, costs, and vehicle performance.

Resolve any transport-related issues or disruptions promptly and effectively.
