Join our team as Tug Master (1-2 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Tug Master with 1-2 years of experience and a B.Des degree to join our Import & Export operations in Lucknow. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tugboats, ensuring smooth cargo movement and adherence to all maritime regulations. This role requires a unique blend of design thinking and practical operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tugboats safely and efficiently to assist in the docking, undocking, and maneuvering of larger vessels.
- Conduct pre-departure and post-arrival checks of the tugboat, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate logs of vessel movements, operational activities, and any incidents.
- Liaise with port authorities, vessel captains, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of towing operations.
- Implement and adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize design principles learned during B.Des to contribute to the optimization of operational workflows and equipment layout for enhanced efficiency and safety.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on tugboat equipment as needed.
