Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual with a strong legal background to join our Venture Capital team as an Investor. In this role, you will support the identification, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities within the legal tech and innovation space. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with an LLM to gain hands-on experience in venture capital and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in sourcing and screening potential investment targets in the legal sector, including startups and emerging companies.
* Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including legal, financial, and market analysis.
* Support the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
* Help monitor portfolio companies and provide ongoing support to investee companies.
* Research market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the legal industry.
* Contribute to deal structuring, negotiation, and closing processes under senior guidance.
* Collaborate with internal legal teams and external advisors on various aspects of the investment lifecycle.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of venture capital best practices and regulatory requirements in India.
