Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Ward Clerk with 2-4 years of experience to join our healthcare services division in Vijayawada. As a Ward Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the ward by managing administrative tasks and supporting the healthcare team. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of healthcare administration, ideally gained through a BBA or BBM degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Schedule appointments and manage the ward's daily schedule, coordinating with medical staff, patients, and their families.
- Handle patient admissions and discharges, ensuring all necessary paperwork is processed efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Manage ward supplies and inventory, placing orders and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Assist with billing and insurance-related administrative tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized ward environment.
