Junior Geriatrician - Engineering & Construction Sector

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geriatrician with a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) degree to join our innovative team in Thiruvananthapuram. This unique role focuses on applying design thinking and user-centric principles to enhance the well-being and productivity of our aging workforce within the demanding Engineering & Construction environment. You will be instrumental in creating supportive and ergonomic workspaces and developing programs that cater to the specific needs of older employees, ensuring a safe and inclusive work setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and needs assessments to understand the physical, cognitive, and social requirements of geriatric employees in an industrial setting.
- Develop innovative design solutions for workspaces, tools, and equipment to improve ergonomics, safety, and comfort.
- Create visual communication materials and training modules tailored for an older demographic, focusing on health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and HR teams to implement design recommendations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development and execution of wellness programs and initiatives specifically designed for the geriatric workforce.
- Gather feedback on implemented designs and programs, and iterate on solutions for continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation of design processes, research findings, and project outcomes.
