Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Head - Finance & Accounts to join our team in Chandigarh. This role is ideal for an individual with 1-2 years of experience in finance and accounting, looking to grow their career in the dynamic Gems & Jewellery industry. The successful candidate will support the finance department in various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position does not require a postgraduate degree.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Support in preparing financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Help in managing petty cash and bank reconciliations.
Assist in tax compliance activities, including GST and TDS.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Aid in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Adhere to company policies and accounting principles.
