Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Incident Manager to join our IT Operations team in Pune. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent B.Tech/B.E. graduate eager to kick-start their career in incident management within the dynamic NBFC sector. You will be responsible for supporting the detection, logging, and initial response to IT incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor IT systems and services for potential incidents.
- Accurately log and categorize incoming incidents according to established procedures.
- Perform initial triage and diagnosis of incidents to determine their impact and priority.
- Escalate incidents to appropriate support teams when necessary.
- Communicate incident status updates to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of incident management documentation and knowledge bases.
- Participate in post-incident reviews to identify root causes and preventive measures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to IT service management.
