Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Asset Management professional to join our growing team in Chandigarh. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent BBA/BBM graduate looking to kickstart their career in the dynamic Indian Railways sector. You will be responsible for assisting in the tracking, management, and optimization of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT hardware and software assets.
Support the procurement and deployment processes for new IT assets.
Help in tracking IT asset lifecycle, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
Assist in software license management and compliance activities.
Participate in regular IT asset audits to ensure data accuracy.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to gather asset-related information.
Generate basic reports on IT asset inventory and utilization.
Learn and apply IT Asset Management best practices and company policies.
Support the IT Asset Management team in daily operations and special projects.
