Junior Marine / Maritime Pilot (Thiruvananthapuram)

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Junior Marine / Maritime Pilot to join our operations in Thiruvananthapuram. This role is ideal for individuals with 2-4 years of experience who are keen to contribute to our logistical and operational efficiency within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will support the safe and efficient movement of vessels and cargo within port limits, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. This position does not require a formal graduation degree, focusing instead on practical experience and aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist senior pilots in navigating vessels safely and efficiently in and out of port limits.
2. Monitor vessel traffic and environmental conditions (weather, currents) to ensure safe operations.
3. Communicate effectively with vessel masters, port authorities, and other stakeholders.
4. Maintain accurate logs and records of all pilotage operations.
5. Participate in safety drills and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
6. Ensure compliance with all local and international maritime regulations.
