Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Material Scientist to join our Industrial Automation team in Bhubaneshwar. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong academic background in materials science and a passion for applying material knowledge to industrial applications. You will work closely with experienced engineers to research, develop, and test new materials and processes that enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews and research on emerging materials relevant to industrial automation, such as polymers, composites, ceramics, and advanced alloys.
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments to characterize material properties (mechanical, thermal, electrical, chemical).
- Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and present findings to the team.
- Support the development and optimization of material processing techniques.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to identify material challenges and propose solutions.
- Contribute to failure analysis and root cause investigations for material-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and results.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in material science and their applications in automation.
