We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandise / Retail Planner to join our Defence & Aerospace team in Pune. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent B.Com graduate to gain hands-on experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, and strategic product planning within a dynamic industry. You will work closely with the merchandising and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and support sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing sales data and market trends to identify product opportunities.
- Support the development of merchandise plans and sales forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend reorder points to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Track the performance of merchandise and provide regular reports to management.
- Help in the planning and execution of retail strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Learn and apply merchandising principles to optimize product placement and presentation.
