Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandising Head with a legal background to join our team in Kochi. This role is ideal for an individual with 2-4 years of experience who can leverage their LLB degree to understand and manage merchandising operations within the metals and mining sector. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, optimizing supply chains, and supporting strategic merchandising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret contracts related to merchandising, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and inventory.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the metals and mining commodities market.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow and timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Prepare reports on merchandising performance, sales data, and market insights for senior management.
- Ensure all merchandising activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and legal frameworks.
- Support the negotiation of terms with suppliers and vendors, with a focus on contractual obligations.
