Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payroll & Transactions - Other professional to join our dynamic finance team in Vadodara. This role is ideal for an individual with 3-4 years of experience and a strong understanding of legal and financial processes, particularly those with an LLB qualification seeking to apply their knowledge in a corporate setting within the power sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and managing various financial transactions, with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies.
- Process and reconcile various financial transactions, including vendor payments, reimbursements, and other operational expenses.
- Ensure all payroll and transaction-related documentation is maintained accurately and organized for audit purposes.
- Support in the preparation of payroll reports and financial statements.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve payroll and transaction-related queries.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and other relevant legislation impacting payroll and transactions.
- Assist in conducting internal audits related to payroll and financial transactions.
- Identify and suggest improvements to current payroll and transaction processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and statutory compliance.
