Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Port & Maritime Operations professional with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the efficient and safe operations of our port and maritime activities, contributing to the smooth functioning of our aquaculture and fishing ventures. This role requires a B.Tech/B.E. degree and a foundational understanding of maritime principles and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily port and maritime operations, including vessel docking, cargo handling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including vessel crews, logistics providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of port activities, inventory, and operational data.
- Participate in incident reporting and investigation, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the management in optimizing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure operational readiness and safety.
