We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Power Plant Technician with an M.Pharma background to join our team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of power generation facilities within a dynamic ports and shipping environment. The ideal candidate will leverage their pharmaceutical knowledge in areas requiring precision and understanding of complex systems, contributing to the reliable and efficient functioning of our power infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operation and monitoring of power plant equipment, including generators, turbines, and associated control systems.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks on power plant machinery, adhering to safety protocols.
- Record operational data, such as pressure, temperature, and fuel consumption, and report any anomalies.
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct basic water quality testing and chemical analysis, drawing parallels to pharmaceutical quality control procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the power plant work area.
- Study and understand power plant schematics and operating manuals.
- Comply with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of power generation technologies.
