Job Description
Role Summary: The Kit Manager will be responsible for the efficient management, inventory, and distribution of all project-related kits and equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring that project teams have the necessary resources readily available to carry out their tasks effectively, supporting the operational efficiency of our government-facing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all project kits, including hardware, software, stationery, and promotional materials.
Oversee the procurement process for new kits and replenishment of existing stock, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget.
Manage the distribution and collection of kits to and from project team members, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with vendors for repair and maintenance of equipment within the kits.
Develop and implement efficient storage and organization systems for all kits.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures related to asset management and inventory control.
Prepare regular reports on inventory status, usage, and procurement needs for management.
