Kit Manager (Contract) | Kolkata

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Kit Manager with 3-5 years of experience to oversee the inventory, maintenance, and deployment of all event-related equipment and materials for our projects in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree and have a strong understanding of technical equipment used in live events and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all event equipment, including AV, lighting, staging, furniture, and promotional materials. Implement and manage a robust system for tracking equipment in and out of storage.

Conduct regular quality checks and maintenance on all equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Coordinate repairs and replacements for damaged or malfunctioning items.

Oversee the packing, loading, and unloading of equipment for events, ensuring accuracy and safety. Liaise with logistics teams to schedule timely delivery and pickup of materials.

Manage the storage facility, ensuring it is organized, secure, and accessible. Maintain cleanliness and order within the inventory space.

Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, equipment condition, and any issues encountered.

Collaborate with event production teams to understand equipment requirements for upcoming projects and ensure timely availability.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment handling and storage.
