Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This role is crucial for supporting the smooth operation of our on-site catering facilities, which serve our employees and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines and manual methods.
- Scrape and pre-rinse food debris from dishes before washing.
- Sort and stack clean dishes, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, countertops, and floors.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including ovens, stovetops, grills, and refrigerators.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and other kitchen supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations and company policies.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
