Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and stored. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our kitchen and upholding our high standards of hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
• Scrape and rinse dishes prior to washing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Dispose of garbage and recycling properly.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, including floors, countertops, and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Restock clean dishes and utensils in their designated storage areas.
