Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher - Engineering & Construction (Kochi) - 2-4 Yrs

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Kochi. This role is crucial for maintaining the hygiene and operational efficiency of our corporate kitchen facilities. While the primary focus is on kitchen support, the ideal candidate will possess a strong foundational understanding of business operations and management principles, as evidenced by their MBA/PGDM degree, enabling them to contribute to process improvements and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces according to established health and safety standards.

Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using dishwashing machines and by hand.

Maintain a clean and organized storage area for dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies.

Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and handling.

Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and dishwashing detergents, reporting needs to the supervisor.

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP principles.

Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.

Contribute to waste management and recycling efforts within the kitchen.

Apply business management principles to identify and suggest operational efficiencies and cost-saving measures within the kitchen.
