Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher - Urban Transport (2-3 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a diligent and organized Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Ludhiana. This role is crucial for maintaining hygiene and operational efficiency within our transport facilities. While the primary focus is on kitchen and dishwashing duties, a background with an M.Des degree is unique and suggests an ability to approach operational challenges with a design-thinking mindset, potentially contributing to process improvements and user experience within our staff facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring a clean and sanitary environment, supporting kitchen staff, and managing dishwashing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including floors, equipment, and storage.
• Sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or chopping ingredients.
• Monitor dishwashing machine temperatures and detergent levels to ensure proper sanitation.
• Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines (HACCP, FSSAI standards).
• Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
• Support inventory management by reporting low stock of cleaning supplies or dishwashing detergents.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Leverage M.Des perspective for process observation and suggest minor improvements in workflow or tool organization.
