Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Lab Assistant with 3-5 years of experience and an M.Sc. degree to support our research and development activities in the Defence & Aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of research projects. This role requires a strong understanding of scientific principles and a commitment to accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior scientists and engineers in setting up and conducting experiments and tests related to aerospace materials, systems, or avionics.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and equipment for laboratory analysis and experiments.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning.
- Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data accurately.
- Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and laboratory procedures.
- Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals, and place orders as needed.
- Support in troubleshooting experimental issues and identifying potential solutions.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations on research findings.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in relevant scientific fields.
