Lab Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Lab Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility. The Lab Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of specialized laboratory equipment used in our Animation & VFX pipeline. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure and supporting our artists and technicians in delivering high-quality visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and calibrate various lab equipment, including render farm hardware, color grading suites, and motion capture systems.
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to lab equipment.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of new equipment and workstations.
• Manage inventory of lab supplies and spare parts, and reorder as necessary.
• Document all maintenance, calibration, and repair activities.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Ensure a safe and organized working environment within the lab.
