Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a creative and experienced Landscape Architect to join our team. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of aesthetically pleasing and functional green spaces, particularly focusing on the integration of sustainable agricultural practices and the visual representation of our company's commitment to environmental stewardship. This role will involve working closely with our R&D and marketing teams to develop innovative landscape designs for our corporate campuses, research facilities, and potentially demonstration farms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual and detailed landscape designs for various projects, ensuring alignment with company branding and sustainability goals.
- Create planting plans, irrigation systems, hardscape designs, and site grading for new and existing landscapes.
- Select appropriate plant species, considering local climate, soil conditions, and ecological impact, with a focus on native and drought-tolerant varieties.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate landscape designs with overall project plans.
- Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents for landscape construction and maintenance.
- Oversee landscape construction and installation, ensuring adherence to design plans and quality standards.
- Develop maintenance plans and guidelines for landscape areas to ensure long-term health and aesthetic appeal.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in landscape architecture, sustainable design, and agroecology.
