Layout Engineer

Role Summary: The Layout Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing the physical layout of manufacturing facilities, processing plants, and agricultural infrastructure to ensure efficient operations, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into effective spatial designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed plant and facility layouts, including process flow, equipment placement, and material handling systems.
• Collaborate with process engineers, operations managers, and safety officers to understand requirements and incorporate best practices into layout designs.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D layout drawings, schematics, and models.
• Perform site surveys and analyze existing layouts to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure layouts comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational efficiency goals.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations related to layout designs and project proposals.
• Support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and cost estimation for layout-related tasks.
