Layout Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Layout Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The Layout Engineer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing aircraft interior and exterior layouts, ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and client specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, aircraft systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D layouts for aircraft interiors and exteriors using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Create detailed drawings, schematics, and models for cabin configurations, galleys, lavatories, seating arrangements, and structural components.
- Ensure all layouts adhere to aviation regulations (e.g., DGCA, EASA, FAA), airworthiness directives, and company standards.
- Collaborate with design, structural, systems, and manufacturing engineers to integrate various aircraft components and systems into the overall layout.
- Perform space planning and interference checks to optimize the use of available space and ensure functional efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, including layout reports, Bill of Materials (BOM), and installation instructions.
- Support the modification and upgrade programs for existing aircraft fleets.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required to verify existing conditions and ensure proper installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve layout-related issues during design, manufacturing, and assembly phases.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in aircraft layout design.
