Layout Engineer | 3-5 Yrs | MNC

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Layout Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and have a strong understanding of plant layout design, process flow optimization, and equipment placement within the pulp and paper manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operational setups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize plant layouts for new installations, expansions, and modifications, considering process requirements, material flow, and safety regulations.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, including P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), equipment layouts, and civil/structural interfaces, using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, mechanical engineers, and operations personnel, to gather requirements and validate design proposals.
- Conduct site surveys and analysis to ensure proposed layouts are feasible and comply with existing site conditions and infrastructure.
- Perform space planning and coordinate the placement of machinery, utilities, and auxiliary equipment to maximize operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company safety policies in all layout designs.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for design reviews and project stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve layout-related issues during the design and construction phases.
