Lead Schedulers - Iron & Steel Sector

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Lead Scheduler with a Doctorate/PhD to join our dynamic team in Vijayawada. This role is crucial for optimizing production timelines, resource allocation, and project execution within our Iron & Steel operations. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical techniques and a deep understanding of industrial processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects and production schedules. This position requires 3-4 years of relevant experience in scheduling, planning, or a related analytical field, preferably within the steel or heavy manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update complex production and project schedules using advanced planning and scheduling tools.
- Analyze production data, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure alignment and integration of schedules.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to scheduling conflicts and propose mitigation strategies.
- Utilize advanced statistical and analytical methods to forecast demand, plan capacity, and optimize inventory levels.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on scheduling performance, progress, and recommendations for management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in scheduling activities.
- Mentor junior members of the scheduling team.
