Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to manage and oversee all aspects of arbitration and litigation matters for our Indian operations. This role will be crucial in safeguarding the company's interests and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the dynamic animation and VFX industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in arbitration proceedings, both domestic and international.
- Manage and conduct litigation in various courts and tribunals across India.
- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on contractual disputes, intellectual property issues, and other legal challenges.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, notices, settlement agreements, and arbitration clauses.
- Liaise with external counsel, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies related to legal disputes.
- Ensure compliance with Indian corporate laws, labor laws, and industry-specific regulations.
