Legal Counsel - Corporate & Compliance

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our software product business, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate law, intellectual property, data privacy, and commercial contracts within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including software licenses, SaaS agreements, master service agreements, and partnership agreements.
• Provide legal guidance on intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret protection.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act) and advise on data protection strategies.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration, as well as pre-litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on emerging legal trends and their impact on the company's software product business.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units, engineering, and compliance teams, to provide practical legal solutions.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
