Job Description
Role Summary: L&T is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Counsel to join its dynamic legal team, focusing on the company's extensive Infrastructure, Transport & Real Estate projects across India. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks associated with large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including construction agreements, joint venture agreements, concession agreements, and real estate transaction documents.
Providing legal advice on land acquisition, zoning, environmental regulations, and other property-related matters.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable Indian laws, including company law, contract law, and sector-specific regulations.
Managing and resolving disputes, including arbitration and litigation, related to project execution and contractual obligations.
Conducting legal due diligence for new projects and investments.
Advising on corporate governance and compliance matters.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including project managers, finance teams, and senior management, to provide practical legal solutions.
