Legal Counsel - Professional Responsibility & Compliance

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and diligent Legal Counsel to oversee and manage professional responsibility, ethical conduct, and compliance matters within our Indian operations. This role will be crucial in ensuring adherence to legal standards, industry best practices, and internal policies, thereby mitigating risks and safeguarding the company's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to professional responsibility and ethical conduct for all employees and stakeholders.
• Investigate allegations of professional misconduct, malpractice, or ethical breaches, ensuring thorough and impartial reviews.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on matters of professional liability, risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in India.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement agencies as required.
• Conduct legal training sessions for employees on professional responsibility, compliance, and ethical standards.
• Review and advise on contractual agreements to ensure compliance and mitigate potential liabilities.
• Stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory landscapes in India impacting the consumer electronics and appliances sector.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration related to professional conduct and malpractice claims.
