Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team and provide comprehensive legal support to our operations within the Indian Railways sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising on a wide range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and protecting the company's interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to railway projects, procurement, and services.
Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters specific to the Indian railway industry.
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues, including intellectual property, litigation, and dispute resolution.
Manage and oversee legal proceedings, liaising with external counsel when necessary.
Ensure adherence to all applicable Indian laws, railway board guidelines, and other regulatory frameworks.
Advise on risk management strategies and implement measures to mitigate legal exposure.
Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
