Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Legal Entity Management Specialist to join our growing legal team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and compliant management of all legal entities within Tata Motors, supporting our expansion and operational efficiency in the Indian automotive sector. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our corporate records, facilitating compliance, and providing crucial support to various business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the lifecycle of all legal entities in India, from incorporation to dissolution.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory and regulatory documents with relevant authorities (e.g., MCA, ROC).
Maintain and update the corporate governance database, ensuring all entity information, directorships, and shareholding details are current.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, HR, Operations) and external counsel/service providers on entity-related matters.
Assist in the preparation and execution of board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate documentation.
Conduct due diligence on new and existing entities as required.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting corporate entity management in India and advise on compliance.
Support cross-border legal entity management activities as needed.
