Job Description
Role Summary: The Legal Liaisoning Manager will be responsible for managing and facilitating all legal and regulatory interactions between the company and various government bodies, statutory authorities, and external legal counsel within India. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance, smooth project execution, and mitigating legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all legal and regulatory matters with government agencies, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable Indian laws, regulations, and policies relevant to the manufacturing and production sector.
- Facilitate the obtaining of necessary licenses, permits, approvals, and sanctions from relevant authorities.
- Liaise with external legal counsel for advice, litigation support, and contract review.
- Manage and maintain all company legal records and documentation.
- Provide timely updates and reports on legal and regulatory developments impacting the company's operations.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
- Represent the company in meetings and discussions with government officials and regulatory bodies.
