Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and proactive Legal Officer to join our growing team. The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our design services company, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and managing contractual agreements. This role is crucial in safeguarding the company's interests and facilitating smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and employment contracts.
- Advise on intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks, and design patents, relevant to the design industry.
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, Indian data protection laws), and other applicable legislation.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes, if any, and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Conduct legal research and provide timely legal opinions on various business matters.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the design and technology sectors.
