Legal Officer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Officer to join our legal department in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the company, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within the consumer electronics and appliances sector. This role requires a proactive approach to legal matters and the ability to manage a diverse range of legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to company operations, including vendor agreements, distribution agreements, and service contracts.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day business operations.
- Assist in managing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes, including liaising with external counsel.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues impacting the company's business in the consumer electronics and appliances industry.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian laws and regulations, including company law, intellectual property law, consumer protection laws, and labor laws.
- Support the legal team in managing intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Handle legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions as required.
- Maintain and update legal records, policies, and procedures.
- Advise on data privacy and protection regulations.
