Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Officer to join our legal team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Law (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, contract management, and regulatory compliance within the consumer goods sector. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's legal operations, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and marketing agreements.
Provide legal advice and support to business units on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, and consumer protection laws.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian laws and regulations, including those pertaining to the FMCG sector.
Assist in the management of litigation and dispute resolution matters.
Conduct legal research and provide timely updates on changes in legislation and case law.
Support the legal department in corporate secretarial functions as required.
