Legal Operations Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Operations Specialist to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal department, supporting the delivery of legal services across our diverse industrial equipment and machinery business operations in India. This role involves managing legal department processes, technology, vendor relationships, and financial matters to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the legal department's technology stack, including contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, e-discovery tools, and legal research platforms.
• Oversee the legal department's budget, including invoice processing, accruals, and financial reporting, in collaboration with the finance department.
• Develop and implement legal department policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
• Manage relationships with external legal service providers, including law firms and vendors, and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) and fee arrangements.
• Coordinate and manage legal projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documentation and reports.
• Support the legal team with data analysis, metrics tracking, and performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations relevant to legal operations.
