Job Description
Role Summary: WayCool Foods is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal & Regulatory Manager to oversee and manage all legal and regulatory affairs for the company. This role will be crucial in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within the Indian agricultural sector and supporting the company's growth and expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contracts, intellectual property, and employment law.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian laws and regulations pertaining to the agri-food sector, including food safety, environmental regulations, and agricultural policies.
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
Manage and oversee all regulatory filings and submissions with government agencies.
Advise on risk management and implement strategies to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
Stay updated on changes in legislation and regulatory frameworks affecting the company's operations.
Liaise with external legal counsel and government authorities as needed.
Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
