Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious individual with a Doctorate/PhD to join our legal and regulatory team. This role is ideal for someone looking to apply advanced research and analytical skills to complex legal and regulatory challenges within the dynamic Indian entertainment industry. You will contribute to ensuring compliance, navigating evolving legal frameworks, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging legal and regulatory trends impacting the film, music, and entertainment sectors in India.
Provide expert opinions and strategic advice on intellectual property rights, content licensing, broadcasting regulations, and digital media laws.
Assist in the development and implementation of robust compliance frameworks and policies.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and legal counsels to address compliance issues and advocate for industry interests.
Review and draft legal documents, agreements, and contracts with a focus on regulatory adherence.
Stay abreast of judicial pronouncements and legislative changes relevant to the entertainment industry.
Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to legal and regulatory matters.
