Role Summary:
This role is responsible for developing and implementing life insurance strategies and products that align with the company's overall business objectives and cater to the specific needs of stakeholders within the agriculture and allied sectors in India. The position requires a deep understanding of the insurance landscape, risk management, and the unique challenges and opportunities present in the Indian agricultural economy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine life insurance product offerings tailored for farmers, agri-business professionals, and employees within the agricultural value chain.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify new opportunities and assess the viability of proposed insurance schemes.
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and claims departments to ensure product profitability and efficient service delivery.
• Manage regulatory compliance and ensure all life insurance products meet Indian regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute marketing and distribution strategies for life insurance products within the target segments.
• Analyze insurance portfolio performance, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including financial institutions and agricultural cooperatives.
