Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Light Engineer to join our dynamic team at Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. The Light Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all lighting systems within our port facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of lighting fixtures and systems, including high-mast lighting, area lighting, and navigational aids.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions in lighting circuits and components.
- Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of lighting components.
- Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance teams to integrate lighting systems with overall port infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in lighting technology and recommend upgrades or improvements.
