Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative Light Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of lighting solutions, focusing on energy efficiency, performance, and aesthetic appeal. You will work closely with product development, R&D, and manufacturing teams to bring cutting-edge lighting products to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new lighting fixtures and systems, considering factors like light output, color temperature, energy consumption, and thermal management.
- Conduct photometric analysis and simulations to optimize lighting performance.
- Select appropriate components, including LEDs, drivers, optics, and materials.
- Create technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with industrial designers to ensure aesthetic and functional integration of lighting solutions.
- Perform prototyping, testing, and validation of lighting products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during product development and manufacturing.
- Stay updated with the latest lighting technologies, standards, and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
