Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Light Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Light Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining lighting systems for our manufacturing facilities and corporate offices, ensuring optimal illumination, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of lighting technologies, electrical systems, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop lighting solutions for new construction and renovation projects, considering aesthetic, functional, and energy efficiency requirements.
Select appropriate lighting fixtures, lamps, control systems, and materials based on project specifications and budget.
Prepare lighting layouts, photometric calculations, and technical drawings using CAD software.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of lighting systems, ensuring adherence to design plans and electrical codes.
Conduct energy audits and recommend upgrades to existing lighting systems to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Troubleshoot and resolve lighting-related issues in existing installations.
Stay updated with the latest lighting technologies, trends, and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
