Light Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and hands-on Light Engineer to join our facility management team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and lighting fixtures within various client facilities. This role requires a practical understanding of electrical principles and a commitment to ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will be working closely with our senior technicians and facility managers to uphold the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of all lighting systems, including emergency lighting.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and lighting malfunctions, implementing timely repairs.
- Install new lighting fixtures, wiring, and electrical components as per project requirements and safety standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and company procedures.
- Assist in the upkeep of electrical tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Respond to emergency calls for electrical issues and provide prompt resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the facility management team to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support senior engineers and technicians on larger electrical projects.
