Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and technically adept Light Engineer with a Master's in Design (M.Des) to join our innovative team in Gurgaon. This role is crucial for conceptualizing, designing, and developing next-generation lighting solutions for our advanced electronic components and semiconductor applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and the technical aspects of light engineering, with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design innovative lighting systems and components for electronic products, ensuring optimal performance, aesthetics, and user interaction.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, product management, and manufacturing teams to translate design concepts into functional prototypes and production-ready designs.
- Conduct user research and ergonomic studies to ensure lighting solutions are intuitive, efficient, and meet user needs.
- Develop detailed design specifications, technical drawings, and 3D models using CAD software.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes for lighting systems.
- Perform photometric analysis and testing to validate lighting performance against design requirements.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in lighting design, semiconductor technology, and user experience.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
- Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
