Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our financial services division. The Loan Officer will be responsible for managing the loan application process from origination to closing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent customer service, and a thorough understanding of lending products and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Gather and analyze financial information, including credit reports, income statements, and collateral appraisals.
- Determine loan feasibility and structure loan terms and conditions.
- Explain loan products, terms, and conditions to potential borrowers.
- Ensure all loan documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
- Manage relationships with borrowers throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Work closely with internal departments, such as underwriting and legal, to facilitate loan processing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in lending.
