Logistics Manager

Role Summary: The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations within Decathlon India. This includes managing inventory, warehousing, transportation, and distribution to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to our stores and customers across India. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational experience to drive continuous improvement and maintain high service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business objectives and improve efficiency.
• Manage and optimize warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock accuracy, and space utilization.
• Oversee transportation and distribution networks, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Negotiate with logistics providers and vendors to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
• Implement and manage logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs, import/export, and transportation laws.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on logistics performance to senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals.
