Logistics Manager

We are seeking a motivated and organized Logistics Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Chandigarh. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of industrial equipment and machinery to our clients across India. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of logistics, including inventory, transportation, warehousing, and customs compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a B.A. graduate with 2-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management to grow within a leading industrial conglomerate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and coordinate all transportation activities, including freight forwarding, carrier selection, and route planning.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, stock accuracy, and safe storage of goods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, import/export laws, and documentation requirements.
• Monitor logistics performance, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, sales, manufacturing) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage and mentor a small team of logistics personnel.
• Handle any logistics-related issues or disruptions promptly and effectively.
